last night work was extremely boring… pretty sure many did not know about late night sunday…
some old lady came in and started talking to me haha well she was looking for jewellery then we got to the rosary section and then we started talking about those. then she talked about praying with the rosary and yeah reminded me to pray (we both Catholic so it wasn’t awkward or anything regarding religion) haha but anyways after that she told me how she doesnt know how to choose jewellery and then she started talking about how back in the day her boyfriend would buy her jewellery. and she was like you know around your age. and i was like oh yeah and she was like how old are you then i said guess then she said 12 then i said twenty then her eyes went big and she said really?! REALLY?! twenty?! you look 12! anyways after that tangent in the conversation she told me how her husband today, was a boy her friends introduced her to when she was 16. she was like ‘when i first saw him.. he wasnt the type of guy id.. you know.. like.. but there was an instant connection.. as if.. it was meant to be’.
then she was all like… unlike today.. where kids make love and you know.. that stuff.. *raises eyebrows* we played games and laughed and had fun like that. hahaha i was giggling. she said that they got married at 25 and have been together for 53 years! nice. anyways.. she was like do you have a grandma still and i was like yeah she doesnt live in nz though. and she was like is she still in india? so yeah… she thought i was indian..
i really dont know where im going with this but aren’t old people cute! she told me more stuff bahahah stories from old people bahahaha life lessons.
the cutest thing she said was ‘it was meant to be’
